I’ve realized over the years that a vision board only works when it’s made with intention — not just gluing random pictures because they look pretty. The magic is in thinking about what you actually want for yourself, what matters, and what direction you want to move toward in the year ahead.
I’ve collected some great prompts, questions, and tools that make this process more meaningful — not heavy, just real. The goal isn’t to create a Pinterest-perfect board. It’s to make something that reflects your life, your priorities, your growth, and the things you want more of.
We’ll sit around the table with stacks of magazines, scissors, and snacks — creating and thinking out loud as we go. There will be space for reflection, but also for fun and conversation. You can go deep with it or keep it simple — there’s no right way.
By the end of the night, I want you to walk away with a board that actually means something — not one that ends up in a closet. Something you’ll look at and think, yes — this is where I’m headed and who I’m becoming.
The Science on Vision Boards:
The brain responds to images faster and remembers emotionally meaningful images longer than words alone.
When we pair intention with imagery, we’re more likely to notice opportunities and take aligned action.
Research shows that people who clearly define their goals and regularly revisit them are up to 33 percent more likely to follow through. A vision board works when it helps you clarify what matters and keeps your attention oriented toward it over time.
